Goodbye to Kingston!

Kingston completed a successful summer REU, working with Leanna to test guide strand modifications for site-directed RNA editing! It was a pleasure having you in the lab, stay in touch!

Great work, SeHee!

SeHee took home the award for “Best Poster” from the RNA Editing Gordon Research Conference in Lucca, Italy!

Congrats to Kevin for winning “Best Poster”!

Kevin was awarded Best Power at the 2019 Miller Symposium. Way to go!

2018 Chemical Biology Program Retreat

The 4th annual CBP retreat was held in Lake Tahoe for the first time. We heard some great student science, and had engaging responsible conduct of research discussions. Thanks to our keynote speaker Dr. Ben Shen, for an inspiring talk!

Erin is awarded an NIH T32 Training Grant!

Erin is one of two trainees selected for the 2018-2019 cohort of the Chemical Biology Program training grant. During this fellowship she will complete a rotation in the Siegel lab.

Time for a Beal lab happy hour!
